When I paint, I explore certain elements of life that fascinate me, such as fabric, fashion, architecture, light, and shadow. For months, sometimes even years, I delve into a particular element through my paintings. To me, these paintings are never considered 'finished works' because my research is ongoing, constantly evolving into other elements and new series.

Just like my series, these are a form of research. Studies of models, light, movement, portraits: all of these examine the intricate details of various aspects of life. They focus on the small things that capture my attention.
